Purpose of this Blog

I will attempt to describe my hectic life and use it as an educational tool. “Through blogging, students can improve writing skills, learn from each other, add information, and become more confident in their knowledge. A little about Me

Alicia Westbrooks: Atlanta by way of Chi Town, The "Sweet" South, United States; “Sweet Teat and Pizza” Originally from Chicago she moved to the south for the weather. Her inspiration is her son just knowing that he will not be able to say, “I can't do it because he can, when I did it with him in “tow”.” First she is a proud Mother of one son, he is very active in a variety of activities. She is his biggest fan. As a single parent she is a jack of all trades, a bus driver, chef, activity coordinator, Team Mother and a CEO. Her motto, "just suck it up and stop complaining, find a way to get it done." Her work experience has blessed her with 15 years technical training experience and 10 years instructional design experience. Some of her previous work experience and education has given me a keen insight into the best way to present information to a student. Instructional design not only reflects the goals and standards of the organization to its employees, it helps to create and maintain a corporate culture. As an instructional designer it is her goal to strive to create curriculum with the end user in mind to give them an advantage in learning, retaining information as well as using the material presented to become more productive in their job duties.
