BP_5 _ Goanimate.com

Hey Y'all
I want to introduce you to another Web 2.0 tool that has to do with my action research topic the Potential Applications of Digital Storytelling in Education through the use of Video Games. GOanimate.com is a Web 2.0 tools defined by Prof Rena Hanaway the instructor for Emergent Technologies In A Collaborative Culture, are the Web 2.0 tools and applications that have been developed, since approximately 2004, have allowed anyone to become a producer of information on the web and social participation to become the norm.  GOanimate believes that everyone has good stories to tell. However, for the majority of us, the tools that are available for us to express ourselves are very limited. GoAnimate is founded to provide an outlet for everyone's creativities and ideas.
The opportunity for this social participation and collaboration I believe are changing the way we communicate, work and learn GOanimate.com is an animated tool that is virtually free.  With a nominal fee you can create character and tell stories.  With each additional story you earn points that can be used towards additional story and characters, props or scenes.  This make is a challenge as well as fun for students.  The potential use in the classroom is limit less.
The difficult and time consuming to process to make animated cartoons. Has changed with GoAnimate, everyone can easily make animations the way your want to. There is nothing to download and there is no need to draw. Anyone can make your own animated characters, direct your own cartoons, and watch others' creations. It's easy, fun and free. Anyone can customize animations with a large number of tools and features that allow you to create truly unique works of expression
The GoAnimate Team is distributed in two offices, one in New York and one in Hong Kong. GoAnimate is truly a culmination of talent, coming together to create the ultimate website for creative self expression!
